After years on professional stages, Beauty and the Beast is now coming home to schools.Developed in collaboration with Form Imagination (Ballarat), this full-scale modular set is engineered specifically for school productions. Each component is crafted for rapid installation and removal, allowing schools to stage visually spectacular performances without the stress or risk of building or borrowing sets.
The centrepiece is the Beast’s Castle — a stunning, gothic-inspired multi-level structure that balances grandeur with intimacy. Its stone textures and soaring arches create the perfect backdrop for key castle scenes, while adjoining stairways and chambers allow for dynamic stage movement. Complementing this are the village shopfronts and tavern interiors, which roll together to evoke Belle’s provincial world. Framed by eerie forest borders, the design moves seamlessly from village life to enchanted castle — a richly atmospheric setting that immerses audiences in the story’s timeless magic.
